Born in Munich, West Germany (an artifact country from the Cold War), Ted has lived in North America, Europe and Asia. Though spending a good portion of his life abroad, Ted considers Alabama his home.

Married to the world’s best wife and blessed with children that are in all stages of life, he began writing in the 5th grade and hasn’t been able to stop since. An award-winning author of 7 novels thus far, Ted plans on expanding both the Waldlust and Vienna, Alabama series, and there’s more standalone stories in the works.

While honing his writing skills, Ted served 23 years as a pilot in the USAF and Alabama Air National Guard. He also worked for top flight tech companies such as Microsoft Corporation and SAIC, and he expanded into banking and healthcare industries.

Providing free healthcare to underserved people in Southeast Asia is the best experience of his career.
